Baby Boomers - Seniors Need More Money

It is no wonder that baby boomers-seniors need more money – many are on fixed incomes and are doing their best to fight an uphill battle with the current runaway price increases on food, utilities and gas.

Is this a crisis? It certainly is to those who have long been the backbone and heart of our country. Yes, many have existed through the great depression and are now squeezing those pennies as they did before.

More and more boomers are returning to their parent’s household, some to assist the parents in day to day existing; and some because they have had bad times in the past few years and seek comfort at home.

My wife and I are seniors and our 3 children are boomers. Yes, we are in our silver years and loving our grandchildren and great grandchildren - they are highlights of our life.

Some of your families far surpass the size of our family - 3 children, 6 grandchildren and one beautiful great granddaughter. More means more to love, more to worry about, more to offer encouragement when times seem rough - oh so many more mores!

Guess we must throw in a few heartaches and tears also - just to show the ups and downs we all experience.

How many of us that are over 55 have enough money to last until month end, instead of having more month than money? Thousands and thousands of baby boomers/seniors need money, and are existing today below the poverty level.

Think of people who survived the depression years - still having to scrimp and save - counting nickels and dimes, wondering how they can afford a small gift for their loved ones.

Supplemental income is so right for so many of us seniors-boomers who are living on a fixed income. Fortunately there are many of us who have started a home based business that is yielding extra dollars each month.
